Profile
Dr Colin Hunt was an active environmental campaigner in the far north in the early 1990s. He was awarded a PhD for a thesis on the implementation of Ecologically Sustainable Development in 1995 and subsequently taught environmental economics at the Australian National University for 4 years. For the last 4 years he has lived and worked in Papua New Guinea conducting research and publishing on a range of environmental and development issues in PNG and the Pacific islands. He has returned to live in Yungaburra where he is working on a new book.
